1940's Vetta Spilmann Inverse Pushers
A rare and very attractive Vetta Antimagnetique chronograph in a large stainless steel, waterproof screwback case, with turned down lugs and inverted pushers. The case was manufactured by Spilmann who made some of the first large waterproof screwback cases. The true Spilmann cases had the engraved casebacks, like this one.
The case measures 38mm excluding crown. And the dial is in superb, original condition for a watch of this age.
The hands are finished in blue steel and are thick, and luminous. The dial has applied luminous numbers.
The movement is a valjoux 22, which were commonly used inside these types of chronograph, for the reliability and quality of the designs.
