This stunning, clean Omega Genève has come to us in almost unworn condtion with a super crisp brushed unpolished case and integrated bracelet and spare links.
From the change in tone on the sunburst brushed effect dial, to the even lemon pip patina it is an exercise in minimalism.
The integrated 1181 bracelet is superb and the clasp clicks into place crisply.
Integrated Omegas from the 70s are starting to become quite sought after these days found in the Genève line
Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.
Omega first applied "Genève" to its 30mm dress watch dials in 1953. This was to celebrate records set by their watches at the Geneva Observatory. By 1967 the name was put on many more models.
