Nivada has buillt up a good followership from their interesting models, and staple designs like the CASD and Depthmaster. They also had some under the radar models like the lesser known Antarctic with interesting dial variations.
We have seen the Aquamatic model, but have yet to see many of this one... The aquamatica, which was produced during the 50s we believe with this possibly unique case design, and with bumper movement.
The case is larger, measuring 35,5mm excluding crown, and it has large tallon lugs and smooth thin bezel which is almost all dial. The applied arabic numerals and feuille hands. It really is less is more with this one and thr subtle art of not over fussing anything.
The 17 jewel half rotor automatic is in good condition and running well. The brevet signed case is also in good shape for its age with small marks here and there on the lugs.
We love finding interesting pieces like this and hope you can see why this passion for it is neverending. There is always something new and unique around the corner.
