Up for sale is a beautifully preserved 1962 Tudor Oyster Royal, reference 7934, a classic mid-century manual-wind Tudor that perfectly captures the understated charm of the brand’s early Oyster models.

 

Housed in the traditional Oyster case, the watch features a Rolex-signed screw-down crown, a hallmark of Tudor’s close relationship with Rolex during this era. The stainless steel case remains extremely clean and well defined, presenting the honest proportions that make these early Oyster Royals so wearable today.

 

The watch is fitted with a lovely silver sunburst dial displaying the distinctive shock-resistant signature and striking spearhead arrow indexes, which give the dial a subtle sense of dynamism. The original luminous hour plots have aged evenly, with a few showing minor loss, yet the dial overall remains beautifully preserved and full of character, retaining that warm vintage presence collectors appreciate.
