Up for sale is a truly stunning 1948 Omega 2489-1 featuring the Caliber 30T2 with an unusual early non lume dial with foil inverted numerals and leaf hands In a 35,5mm case with 19mm wider lug design.

The watch features a beautifully proportioned sub seconds dial, with a soft, slightly off-white colour contrasted against a silvered foil /mirror numerals which catch the light wonderfully.. The result is a clean, understated aesthetic, with original non-luminous dial configuration, a characteristic we love against the feuille hands.

 

With its generous proportions, elegant off white satin dial and unmistakable late 40s character, this is a vintage Omega that wears exceptionally well on the wrist, offering considerably more presence than the typical Omega of the era.
