We are extremely excited to present you this very very rare grail for the Constellation Connoisseur!
Dating to 1962 this Omega Constellation features a Pie Pan dial with extremely rare 18K white gold dog legged case.
These were only made as special order watches from the dealership.
This combination on a reference 168.005 is one of the most desirable of the range, and would of been a special order Deluxe model from Omega at that time. They were typically fashioned in stainless steel, yellow gold, rose gold and almost never seen in white gold.
The dial condition is excellent, one of the best we have seen with desirable onyx dial.
Paired here on a Molequin Calf strap, there is nothing like the tone of a white gold case it stands alone.
The watch is running well and recently serviced.
This is probably a once in a lifetime find in this combination. It is the only dog legged constellation in WG we have been able to find.
The watch resided in a Asian collectors collection until now. It has not been on the market before.
