1962 Omega Constellation Pie Pan Jumbo 168010
1962 Omega Constellation “Pie Pan” Ref. 168.010
Up for sale is this beautiful 1962 Omega Constellation featuring the desirable Pie Pan dial with onyx-filled markers and a crosshair configuration — a particularly uncommon and elegant combination.
The reference 168.010 stands out within the Constellation family for its broader 19mm lug width, compared to its contemporaries, giving the watch a more substantial presence on the wrist. The case measures 35mm, a versatile size that retains perfect balance between vintage proportions and modern wearability.
The watch remains in exceptional overall condition. The dial presents beautifully with near-perfect preservation for its age, retaining all its original details. The case displays crisp edges with well-defined facets on both the lugs and bezel, indicative of minimal polishing. It retains its original recessed Omega crown and displays full Swiss manufacture markings — Swiss Made, Fab. Suisse, and the Omega triangular stamp inside the case back. It also features the original signed plexiglass.
The chronometer-rated movement is likewise in excellent condition, performing well at the time of testing.
A superb and honest example of a 1960s Constellation — elegant, well-preserved, and ready to be enjoyed or proudly added to a discerning collection. The original steel Omega buckle is also included.
