Delivered in 1962, this rare Omega Constellation features a stunning original silver-gilt black dial, a design attributed to Gérald Genta, showcasing the iconic inverted pie-pan layout and faceted dogleg lugs.
The watch remains in completely unpolished condition, with the factory-original black dial exceptionally well preserved for its age. It is accompanied by its original bracelet, original papers and precision certificate, and the original red leather Constellation box.
Originally purchased in the 1960s from a jeweller in Osaka, Japan, this piece represents an exceedingly rare find. Examples with black dials in such remarkable condition—paired with a sharp, unpolished case—are extremely difficult to come by. While a few survive in private collections, very few ever reach the public market.
