  • This classic Rolex Oyster Precision “Royal”, reference 6426, features a rare glossy gilt dial with sharply applied gold dagger hour markers and elegant gold baton hands. Recently fully serviced, this example stands out as one of the cleanest gilt-dial Precision models we have encountered.

     

    Housed in the timeless 34mm Oyster case, the watch retains its screw-down crown and is paired with its original folded Oyster bracelet, showing a good length and minimal stretch—exactly as collectors hope to find. The gilt dial was produced using Rolex’s galvanic dial-making process, with layers, resulting in rich depth and warmth, with this particular example developing a subtle tropical hue when caught in sunlight. A real head turner!

     

    Dating to 1966, this is a beautifully preserved and effortlessly wearable vintage Rolex—warm, understated, and timeless in every sense.
