A rare and beautifully clean 1969 Omega Railmaster Official made for the Canadian Railroad Company.
The Omega website only mentions a 1960s model made for Canada:
“OMEGA developed its automatic "Railroad Official Standard" model specially for the Canadian Pacific company. Its stainless-steel case housed the calibre 550 movement and had a white lacquer dial with easily legible Arabic numerals and minute circle.”
This is a beautiful, rare and truly stunning Omega, made for a specific purpose and market it sold to. These were only made in low production units for the market they sold in to.
The watch features its original acrylic crystal and signed Omega crown.
The watch features a 4 digit issue number on the caseback.
These are extremely rare and hard to come by in this condition, and you seldom see such clean white dials like this.
A grail vintage Omega that doesn't come around often with history.
