A wonderful example of a 1971 Omega Speedmaster 145.022-71 ST with caliber 861 manually wound movement on steel bracelet.
This watch is interesting because it is the last year of the stepped dial. The next reference was a 145022-74 with no step and so on.
This makes this reference year a bit rarer and more uncommon when compared to the 69s.
The dial has a pronounced step and has developed a stunning egg yolk patina, even and consistant in the hour indeces and hands.
This is a completely original Speedmaster bought from its first owner with original fat flat link 1175 bracelet correctly numbered 71/1 inside. It has the original red box and outer card box.
The case appears totally unmolested and in wonderful sharp condition, even original finish in the medallion with the painted black enamel totally in tact, and some remance of the original factory seal.
Original signed plexiglass with floating logo.
Probably one of the most prime condition examples we have ever seen, and will not easily come across again. Once its gone, it's gone for good !
Please note: The macro images may show articles of dust which in reality are not visible to the naked eye.
