The Stepped Mirror dial 1950s Omega Constellations are in our opinion one of the most attractive vintage dress watches ever produced. Derived from the late Gerald Genta's inception.
This example is outstanding, with good reason, it has desirable arrowhead markers, elegant dauphine hands, and the most incredible mirror Pie Pan dial structure, a true work of art. And finished in 18K gold, with original 18k Omega buckle!
The watch captures the light at every angle, and reflects against the solid 18k dial surface, it really captivates you, and draws you in.
The watch features it's signed original plexiglass and Omega crown.
The case is in good condition with some tarnish to the case, denoting an untouched, barn find condition, extremely desirable to the collector who understands quality, and originality. The caseback, a work of art in itself is in amazing unpolished condition with deep hallmarked engraving to the lugs, and the Waterproof and Constellation engravings in tact, nice and deep as you want to see.
This is one of those watches you will find yourself gazing at time after time, a true representation of Omega's quality design during the golden era of the 1950s.
It comes on a taupe hand made calf grain strap and also Omega buckle in amazing condition. A special dresswatch for any occasion, and perfect for these cold evenings by the fire, when that gold lustre of an antique vintage Connie really shines through!
This is the grail of vintage Constellations.
