A true exercise in pure minimalism and elegance, this stunning 'Oversized' Longines 5045 measures a cool 37mms with a thick, unpolished case, and a pure simple arabic layout, with outer scale. 

It does exactly as it was intended, tell the time, but in a elegant way! The blue feuille hands are a joy, and add to that less is so much more ethos.

These large Longines are rare as hens teeth and extremely sought after by collectors in the know. 

The 12,68N manual movement is a sight for the eyes as well.

Comes paired on a nice taupe strap with white contrasting stitching.

The original serial number 7’434’275 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 5045 and the order number 23643. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 12.68Z and was invoiced on 22 April 1949 to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time our agent for Italy.
