Rare 1954 Rolex 6294 Precision Oysterdate dial with uncommon honeycomb textured dial design. Dial has aged to a beautiful cream colour, the tapestry effect is breathtakingly nice. The case is used but shows character, not overly polished. The 6294 was introduced in the early 1950s and is similar it's predecessor the reference 6094 with removable bezel and screw down oyster crown. The cream honycomb is particulary interesting with thus beautiful patina forming, similar in texture to the early Milgauss or Turn-O-graph. It also has a black/red roulette date wheel. This is a rare and beautiful Rolex Precision which you cannot stop staring at when wearing. Comes on a canvas khaki strap. Oyster bracelet not included. A great Rolex for those wanting something a bit different.
