Tudor made some amazing Oysterdate models during the late 50s into the 60s and many varations which influenced many other brands.

This stunning and uncommon Tudor 7996 Oysterdate with "roulette" alternating red date wheel is one of them with its lovely glossy black dial, perfectly preserved with silver gilt script.

The applied white gold hour markers and hands and lemon lume only lift the dial and the quality is evident.

The grooved bezel is also a cool feature and uncommon to see.

This model pre 60s is known as the "Small Rose" design and features all the classic Tudor hallmarks, Oyster screwdown crown, Oyster case and 34.5mm case design, fitted on its original Oyster fold down clasp bracelet. It is a very late 50s transitional model with ranger style numerals.
