Omega Constellation “Jumbo” — Delivered to Japan, 1965
Delivered in 1965 to a jeweller in Japan, and serial dating 1963, this exceptional Omega Constellation “Jumbo” represents one of the finest surviving examples of its type. Preserved in near new-old-stock condition, the watch has remained virtually untouched since the 1960s, complete with its original box, papers, and precision certificate.
The case presents as unpolished with razor-sharp edges and retains its original jeweller’s sticker to the case-back. The striking brushed silver dial, a rare factory finish, remains perfectly preserved beneath the original crystal. The gold observatory medallion to the case-back is fabricated in solid 18K gold and displays full definition.
These larger-cased Constellations were produced primarily for the Asian market, with a limited number known to have surfaced in the United States. Given the small production run and regional exclusivity, few examples have survived—fewer still in this remarkable state of preservation.
Still fitted with its original, unworn strap and original Omega buckle, this is a truly exceptional and historically significant Constellation—an unrepeatable opportunity for the serious Omega collector.
