The first Breitling Top Time 810 Mark 1.1 are rare, this model debuted in 1964 with a Venus 178 movement and was made for roughly a year.
This was a 38mm monocoque case (top-loader) made by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez SA) and it came in 2 variants. The first was a black dial reverse panda layout with applied lume at the hour markers.
The case style on the MKI is more elegant and smoothly lined than the MKII's with visible chamfers.
These are really special watches and made during the era of the Carerra but instead of 36mm cases they were more substantial, especially by todays standards measuring 38,5mm.
The timless and sporty reverse panda dial works about as well as any 60s Chronograph produced, yet is still so under the radar which is why we love it.
You will seldom find these uncommon MKI Toptimes so don't rest on this one.
The watch comes paired on what could of been the original bracelet from retailer, it's not Breitling signed but a Swiss Made Novafix which is fittingly correct in design and period.
