Up for grabs is this awesome and rare 1966 Omega Speedmaster 105.012-66 with step dial and applied logo and in a CB "Central Boites" case. The more common cases were produced by HF (Huguenin Freres.)
This case has a unique feature with stouter lug design with unpolished (in this case) vertical inner facets. You can clearly see that this design makes the Speedmaster appear different and unique. Finding one that has not had thes facets polished away is very hard and you seldom find exmaples like this.
Another highlight of this watch is the Tachymetre Dot over 90 bezel which is in very good condition, with only one small ding below the 90. But overall it is one of the nicest we've seen.
The correct single step caseback is in good shape with some wear from use.
The watch houses the venerable Caliber 321 which runs well with very good amplitude and accuracy, the original dust cover is also in place.
The watch is sold as head only on black calf grain.
It has the original 24 foot Omega crown and original etched logo plexiglass.
All the lume is original, and the dial is excellent. The hands have some lume loss but we have left them untouched and original without messing with them.
Overall this is an excellent example of a rare and highly coveted Speedmaster priced to sell in the current market.
