This time capsule Patek Philippe "Ellipse" (Golden Egg) reference 3748 came to us in original condition from the original owners family. Gifted from his wife, and worn seldomly, kept in its pristine (for the age) original box, that still satisfyingly clicks when it opens and closes!!
Now lets get to the watch, fashioned in 18K rose gold, which in our opinion makes all the difference. It has very light wearing marks but very crisp, with the original finish on the sides and caseback, I would say it was never polished, only cherished. The crown is excellent with crisp action and butter smooth winding.
The rose gold constrasts the amazing midnight blue of the "Sigma" dial perfectly.
The watch comes with the original 18K buckle, box and extract certificate registered with Patek.
The watch was serviced within the last few years and is running well.
It was purchased new at Nathan's Jewellers in Birmingham on the 12th December 1982.
A rare find in rose gold with all the extras! Purchased from the family of the owner in the UK.
