Just arrived into stock is a truly exceptional 1950s Omega Jumbo, featuring one of the most desirable dial configurations of the era – a beautifully executed two-tone bullseye layout with applied Arabic numerals and an automatic bumper calibre 354 movement.
Housed in a substantial 37mm stainless steel case, this oversized reference was produced for the Portuguese market and proudly retains the correct Portuguese import hallmark to the upper left lug, a wonderful detail that speaks to its originality and provenance. These larger Omega cases stand distinctly apart from the more commonly encountered 34–35mm Seamasters of the period, offering a remarkable presence on the wrist and a rarity that seasoned collectors actively seek out.
The dial is undoubtedly the star of the show. A rich apricot-toned centre is framed by a contrasting black outer minute track, creating the classic bullseye aesthetic that has become so coveted.
