There as some watches that are elusive and some watches that are genuinely rare in the world of vintage Omega, this example, made only in special order from factory for a select market was fashioned in and uncommonly used metal during the early 1960s, and that metal was white gold.
This 1962 Omega Pie Pan Constellation would be a collector grade condition watch in it's own right, but add to it being in a rare metal, 18K white gold, is even better!
The case, one of the highlights has visibly clear facets on the lugs, seldom seen on any 60s gold case, but made even better on this WG variant.
The dial is in excellent condition showing only the smallest hint of ageing when viewed under a loupe.
The watch has it's original crown, and plexi.
The movement is a caliber 561 adjusted 5 positions and timed, and is running well.
The watch was delivered to Taiwan, as a special order. I comes as watch only with a nice Molequin strap.
