The early 1950s Omega Constellations are, for many, among the most beautiful dress watches ever produced, and this early arrowhead Pie Pan with date is no exception.

It captures everything that makes the first-generation Constellation so revered: the elegant lyre-lug case, the beautifully preserved original dial, and the added charm of its original cyclops plexi, all combining to create a watch with enormous presence and refinement on the wrist.

What elevates this example further still is its original 18k brick bracelet, a seriously special feature and one that transforms the watch into a true period luxury statement. It is exactly the sort of detail that separates a good Constellation from one that stops even seasoned collectors in their tracks.

The case is a real standout, appearing as close to unpolished as one could hope for, with the original chamfers still visible along the lug edges. That sharpness gives the watch the crisp architectural feel these early references are so admired for.

It is this balance of elegance, craftsmanship, and timeless design that makes the early Constellation line so compelling, even when placed alongside anything from the Crown. Turn the watch over and the magic continues, with the famous Observatory medallion to the caseback, each one hand-finished between the stars, a small but powerful reminder of Omega’s dedication to chronometric excellence in this golden era.

A beautiful and highly collectible early Constellation, full of charm, quality, and quiet confidence.
