50s Omega Seamasters with black honeycomb dial combinations don't surface as often as one may think. This was due to in part the unpopular nature of black dials as they were associated with being morbid, or even death! 

Thankfully that notion has passed and they have become very sought after by collectors who value them, not only for being smart and attractive, but lending themselves to being suited to a dress watch, and two, there are not many left in good condition, due in part because  less were produced to begin with!

This example features a lovely black honeycomb textured dial with gold script, and that fat bottomed "S" in "Seamaster", preserved in very nice condition overall. Accompanied by a thick gold capped chunky lugs case, and original signed crown.

The watch features a bumper automatic, and has been fully serviced and is good for another decade of enjoyment!

They simply don't make them like this anymore!
