  • The Tudor Day Date was essentially Tudors version of the Rolex 1802 but instead of using a precious metal case, and making it heavier, Tudor decided to use a large full stainless steel 39mm case. This made a more versatile, functional tool watch for everyday.

     

    The example we have available here is a reference 7017/0 with rare matte black dial, exposing all the dial elements, like the facetted hour markers a with even luminous across the dial and a subtle hint of patina in the luminous. 

     

    Finding these examples in good condition is not easy, and seldom will you find one In this shape. 

     

    The watch has a sporty appeal, yet can be dressed under a work shirt cuff and provide a versatile, understated and cool clean look on the wrist. 

     

    The larger 20mm lugs would pair on many variety of calf grain or taupe strap! It comes on its original oyster bracelet.
