An outstanding vintage Omega Technic, reference 131.109, powered by the manual-winding calibre 601 and featuring a seldom-seen black dial with striking red crosshair centre, known as the "Technic" dial.

 

These are uncommon watches in their own right, but particularly so in this configuration and without the usual Seamaster script — leaving the dial wonderfully clean and uncluttered.

 

There’s something incredibly appealing about the simplicity of the matte black dial: the alternating long and short seconds hashes, Speedmaster-style luminous hour plots and that vivid red crosshair and Omega signature, which really pop against the dark backdrop.

 

Over the years, the dial has developed a wonderfully characterful, almost glossy patina, while the warm aged lume in the hands has been beautifully preserved.

 

A very cool and genuinely unusual vintage Omega, with bags of character and a dial you simply don’t come across very often.
