Gigandet made some of the best high quality chronographs for a price point in the 60's & 70's vintage realm. This model is aptly named the "Big Boy" by collectors for its rather beefy 40mm case, wider black bezel ad chunky hands and markers. It's got a super cool depth to the dial, with the inner white tachy providing a 3D look, and the white subs styling really gives the watch a contempory feel on the wrist!

The condition of this piece we would grade: Exceptionally good. The case is really sharp with only tiny hairline scratches, and has all the original definition. The bezel and dial are in excellent shape with little to no wear to the naked eye. We love those liquorice allsort applied markers! This is a much lesser seen variant, with different style sub and chrono hands, they are all in white, and create a muted and cool, understated look.

These are great watches for the money, especially in the full stainless steel cases like this one, with screwback case and a valjoux 7734 movement beating at it's core.

They have a look and shape of the 2nd execution Heuer Autavia, and also the Breguet Type 20, but in a much more affordable package.

We highly recommend buying a watch like this, in this condition, you cannot fail to be impressed by it's high build quality, and impressive boldness on the wrist.
