Exceptionally RARE 1950s Rodania Geometer 5621 H with Valjoux 72 Adjusted two positions.
Myth or legend....Believed to be the influential driving force behind the design concept for the 1st generation 1958 Omega Speedmaster 2915-1, this Rodania Geometer is really a grail watch to find for many years, and we were lucky to have one before.. But not in this variant with "Albino" dial.
I believe the watch stands alone in it’s design, it really is less is more, and a pure functionional tool watch design. We have only seen a two come to market in the last 15 years of searching for them.
The watch dates from around 1954 (before the Speedmaster was introduced) which explains a lot of the dial and case characteristics.
The movement is the famous valjoux 72, but, adjusted to three positions. This variant doesn't have the signed "Rodania Watch Company" on the bridge, but under one of the chronograph wheels, which In have also obsereved on another Geometer before.
