  • For sale beautiful Swiss made 1940's Rotary watch.

This is a completely original and untouched and was purchased of my watchmaker who bought it NOS many years ago.

This was from a period when Rotary were a top swiss manufacturer.

It has an absolutely stunning dial and is very similar in style to the legendary Patek Philippe 96.

The nickel chromium stainex case is in excellent used condition with fixed bars - this isn't like a normal nickel chromium case it's hardened for better wear more like steel.

It does have storage marks and some very small marks on the lugs but considering its age it's fantastic.

It has its original dial with gilt breguet numerals, original blued steel hands as well as sub second dial.

It states "swiss made" at the base and the condition of the dial is outstanding - one of the nicest i have seen on any watch.

You will struggle to find a dial from this period as well preserved.

It has snap on case back stamped "Stainex - Stainless Steel back - Swiss case - 403960".

It uses a high quality Rotary 15 jewel cal 750 manual wind movement that winds smoothly, and keeps really good time.

The watch is 35mm in diameter with crown and 33.5mm without.

It is 41.5mm lug to lug and has 17mm lugs.
