1947 Omega Triple Calendar Moonphase Wristwatch 2486-1

Rarely do we come across the elusive jumbo reference 2486-1 Omega Moonphase in stainless steel.

This 1947 Omega Triple date Moonphase, OR, as some collectors prefer to call it, the TDMP is one of Omega's most sought after and beautiful designs, their version of the Padellone, it has all the key attributes to make this  iconic piece stand out in todays vintage aesthetic.

This example is one of the best examples we have seen in the metal, with and amazing original dial, survived with a subtle hint of patina this moonphase disc is crisp and deep in colour, the dial condition excellent, and with light wear, but considering it is over 70 years old it is truly remarkable!

The fully stainless steel case measuring 37.5mm is in great condition showing light wearing marks to be expected but overall very nice.

The watch comes with a grey calf Molequin strap.

One of our all time favourite Vintage Omega. One you will not see again in this condition.
