This rare BWC Chronograph (Buttes Watch Company) with inverse panda dial was made around the start of the 1960s with a rare panda combination and the same movement used in the Rolex Daytona, the valjoux 72, just fully serviced by our watchmakers.
There is so much value here in these watches. They have also fascinating details. This example features interesting arrow hands and lollipop seconds. The subidials are all outlined in steel rings, as you would expect to find inside a cockpit.
The 37mm case is a perfect size for the slight of wrist, with just enough presence and comfort, spot on for a sports chrono.
The BWC brand was quite high end in their day and made great watches alonside Heuer, Zodiac and Hamilton amongst others.
