A stunning and rare 1950s Lemania Chronograph with 27 CH movement and pump pushers and leaf hands.
Lemania was the primary movement maker for Omega and Tissot during this period, and their watches often used the same dial and case manufacturers. The layout of the arrow "Tachymeter" for instance resembles the Omega Seamaster Chronographs of the time.
The 17 jewel manual wind movement fitted in this watch is the Lemania 27CH, which is the base calibre for the Omega calibre 320 and the 3 register version, the calibre 321. The movement is one of the legends in the history of Horology.
The subtle two tone dial is in perfect condition with characterful patina make this a special example. You don't see these very often in such good factory original condition.
The 35.5mm case has razor sharp facets and caseback has no tool marks at all.
In short, this is an excellent original example and all coherent as one would hope.
Lemania is a historic brand and their watches have really stood the test of time in terms of quality and craftmanship.
