The black honeycomb Seamasters of the 50s are some of the most beautiful designs by Omega. During this time it seems Omega was transitioning, trying various styles of dial and marker configurations.
Sadly, not many of these wonderful pieces remain, and this particular example is probably the rarest combination with hooded lugs. This model was also named the "Ultima" for the US markets and carried a rotor automatic caliber 505 movement.
This model with the chronometer 352 rg regulator is one of the most accurate ever made by Omega and tested in the Chronometre competitions.
Amazingly the original owner preserved the original gurantee, the original chronometre papers! and it has an period correct Omega strap with solid 18k buckle and Omega box.
Please email us for more hi resolution pictures. This watch is all original and we have chosen to replace the original plexi which had some crazing.
