Kelek was a quality brand during the Swiss chronograph era during the 1960s and in terms of design made some of the coolest and funkiest watches around.
This 37mm stainless steel screwback Chrono has a truly gorgous big eye inverse grey panda dial with little details like the red paddle seconds hand and outer tachymeter scale constrasting the clean white hands which have aged tritium to a nice yellow colouring as it is in the hour markers.
This watch would have been waterproof to 20 ATM.
This would have been used to time races or laps using the larger offset minute counter, which is clear in white to be able to see at a glance.
The overall shape and clean design of this watch is amazing and perfect to wear as a daily vintage watch.
The movement is a workhorse valjoux 7733 just fully overhauled and ready to be enjoyed.
