We don't often get truly gobsmacked by condition, rarity and originality, but in this case we are..
Here we have an outstanding all original 1962 Omega Constellation with rare "Railtrack" dial, which essentially means the dial has a recessed seconds track running around the inner segment of the dial, with outer applied 18k solid gold faceted hour markers to the outside and solid gold daupine hands. It has it's factory signed Omega plexi.
The solid 18K hallmarked case is considered a "Deluxe" model of the Constellation line, with the script denoting that it is 'Automatic' and 'Chronometer' specification. It has a vertical brushed silvered dial with light patina. The watch is in excellent running condition, previously serviced.
The movement houses a caliber 561 autmomatic which is chronometer tested, and has a 19 million serial dating it to 1962.
The added script "Türler" was seldom seen on these 60s Constellations. Türler was a well regarded Omega retailer out of Zurich, Switzerland during this period.
This reference 14393/94 SC is a very desirable and rare watch not often seen, the underdog of the Pie Pan but no less desirable, in fact much more rare to find.
This is an amazing dresswatch which retains an incredible case that seems to be unpolished, judging by the crispness of lugs and the depth and detail of that caseback medallion.
A very special, and seldom seen Omega Constellation for the true connoisseur.
