Dating to 1973 this awesome Rolex Datejust with unusual taupe dial is truly stunning and an unusual colouring seldom seen on a Datejust from this period. Tilt the wrist and you have a cool fading ghost effect as can be seen in our photos.
The pie pan dial is in excellent condition and complete patina'd hour plots are all in tact and have aged to a warm tone. The hands are slightly lighter as is common on these as they used a different compound on the hands than the dial.
The case is thick and in good condition showing only minor wearing marks from use and has been lightly polished in the past.
The rare USA Jubilee rice grain bracelet is in good shape and would fit a 7 plus inch wrist.
The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. And comes with original Rolex service card from 2018 with receipt of sale.
