Measuring in at 36mm, this all stainless steel Angelus Chronograph exhibits sharp, angular lugs in immaculate condition for its age, dating to around the mid 1940s. The calibre 215 was Angelus’ in house movement, and it is in good condition. The watch runs well and the chronograph works well. The interesting point about this piece is the non-luminous hands. Nearly all these early Angelus were used for military purpose as pilots watches, this one has elegant blue steel hands, and matching sub dial hands. The creamy rich dial and blue/black tachymeter base 1-mile scale is really crisp and overall the watch presents as close to NOS as one would like to find.
