A stunning Breguet Classique in solid 18k wristwatch with incredibly beautiful decorated coin-edged case with pyramid hand engraved "Clous de Paris" larger portion of the dial, contrasted with a beautiful satin finish. This is carved with a manual machine and not an autmatic one.
The relatively smaller (Boy's) size by todays standards it what makes this watch special, it's descreet and unassuming yet packs the most subtle understated quality, unlike so many other brands which don't hit the mark, with Breguet it is always apparent, pure quality.
The Breguet output of quality craftmenship in design is on show here and among other designs like their Tourbillons and early Breguet numeral and hand Pocket watch output, always with emphasis on quality both in design and in their movements.
A Jaeger le coultre 818/4 is a super-luxury machine, and LeCoultre's Cal.818 was supplied not only to Breguet but also to Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Chopard.
It doesn't get much better than this in dress watch terms.
Breguet is a long-established watch brand founded in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, a genius watchmaker.
Abraham-Louis Breguet invented the various mechanisms essential to a wristwatch, as well as the design parts such as Breguet hands and Breguet numerals during the pocket watch era.
He is also known for inventing complex mechanisms such as tourbillons and perpetual calendars.About 70% of the mechanism installed in modern wristwatches is said to have been invented and improved by Abraham-Louis Breguet, and is also described as "Leonardo da Vinci in the watch world".
Abraham-Louis Breguet's watches have been praised in every court in Europe, with customers such as Queen Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte.
Currently, we continue to make luxury watches as the highest brand of the Swatch Group.
"Classic" is a collection inspired by the works of the brand when it was born.
Classic collection watches are packed with all the elements that characterize Breguet. The guilloche carving on the dial, the coin edge decoration on the side of the case, the Breguet hands, and the design are just like the charm of the brand.
In addition to the beautiful round form, it is a watch that has both artistry and functionality, such as a simple, lean and sophisticated atmosphere, visibility, and high functionality.
